I WAS WITH THE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY FOR MORE THAN 30 YEARS

I had been in the entertainment industry for more than 30 years. I started as a production assistant in ABS-CBN before martial law and worked as an assistant to top TV directors like Fritz Ynfante, Al Quinn, Rollie Grande, and Gil Portes in various TV specials. I ventured into independent record producing and management of recording artists which led me to a career in the recording industry as Marketing Manager, Advertising and Promotions Manager, and A&R Manager for several record companies such as Vicor, Dyna, WEA, Universal, Praise, and Sony Music. I can say I was a different recording executive. That was the way I looked at myself. I did things differently, meaning I did not follow or imitate what other record executives were doing then. I wanted to be better and the only way to do it was to be different. I started my first year experimenting on several things and as expected there were some forms of resistance within the industry. Most people hated change but slowly I got positive responses and they opened up to my little experiments. As I discovered, experiments never fail. It was when I did not experiment that led me to failure.

What I discovered throughout those years was a startling revelation. Not every recording artist we signed up became stars. I realized that what made many unknown performers become stars was their Star Consciousness, which means aside from talent and the backing of high-budgeted marketing campaigns of record companies, they were using universal principles, whether they were aware of them or not. That discovery made me analyze how someone can really break in and make it big in the ever changing world of showbiz. This led me to my in-depth study on consciousness evolution (kamalayan) and the Universal Laws. I tried the universal principles myself and I lived the lifestyle of the rich and famous having learned how Star Consciousness worked.

I attracted so many good opportunities in life including a teaching career. I taught for eighteen years in Assumption College, an exclusive Catholic school for girls. Oh yes. I also became a movie, stage, and television actor, a book author, a TV producer, and director.
