NOBODY GIVES YOU A BREAK. YOU ATTRACT IT

NOBODY GIVES YOU A BREAK. YOU ATTRACT IT.

This statement is one that many of us have heard at some point in our lives, yet it is something which merits further examination. The idea that success and opportunities come to those who are willing to work to attract it is a concept which offers many valuable lessons. In a world where so many people feel idle or stagnant in their lives, it is important to remember that nobody is responsible for giving us breaks—it is something that we have to actively pursue and make happen for ourselves.

We are all capable of making our own luck, if we are willing to put in the necessary effort. Too often, many of us expect something to be handed to us, instead of taking the initiative and working for it. This type of attitude is not only counter-productive, but it can also create a resentment of those who have managed to achieve success in spite of the odds. Rather than remain in our current situation, if we are willing to dedicate ourselves to the task, it is possible to find creative solutions to difficult problems and break through even the most seemingly insurmountable barriers.

If we want to make progress in our lives, we must be willing to put forth the effort and bring our self-made breaks to fruition. We must be aware that it will not always be easy, yet this type of struggle will bring to light all that we are capable of accomplishing, when we are committed and passionate about a goal. We can recognize our weaknesses and use them as strengths, knowing that even if we fail, the attempt is something that should be celebrated.

In order to make our own breaks, we must be willing to take risks, think outside of the box and stay determined and focused on the end goal. It is difficult to be successful in life when we expect someone else to do the work for us. Nobody gives you a break. You attract it. We must recognize that with hard work and dedication, we can build the future we want. As we continue on our personal journeys, it is important to remember this truth, as it can serve as a source of motivation and strength.
